Welcome to the Puerto Rican Family Institute, Inc. The Institute was founded in 1960 by a group of social workers whose primary goals were to prevent family disintegration and promote the self sufficiency of the Latino community. The Institute is a nationally recognized leader in the field of social, educational, child placement, prevention and mental health services. Today, we provide a comprehensive array of services that are culturally and linguistically relevant to children, youth, adults and families, regardless of their ethnic, gender or cultural background.
